Omar joined the PNL in June 2021 after graduating from Boston College where he majored in Neuroscience and was a member of the Memory Modulation Lab. He worked on projects aimed at investigating the neural bases of memory, as well as how emotions and experiences interact with memory processes. He was responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and conducting behavioral experiments, and assisted with data acquisition and analysis. While at Boston College, he was awarded membership into Nu Rho Psi, the only nationally-recognized honor society in the areas of neuroscience and brain research.
