Madhura obtained her undergraduate degree in electrical engineering in BITS-Pilani, Pilani, India, after which she came to the U.S. to pursue a Masters in Electrical Engineering at Auburn University. During her master’s program, she studied structural and functional organization of networks implicated in gender differences in suicidal behavior using fMRI and DTI scans. Madhura is currently a Ph.D. student in computational neuroscience at Boston University. She is working with Doug Rosene at BU and Marek Kubicki and Yogesh Rathi at the PNL on a collaborative project. Her research interests lie in studying aging while bridging the gap between experimental and computational neuroscience in order to obtain a holistic perspective of the aging process in the brain.
