October 2012: The NIMH has cited Dr. Rathi’s research as one of their new recently funded projects. This project proposes to use new computational and acquisition approaches to shorten the scanner time needed for conducting advanced diffusion imaging.
August 2012: Draper Laboratory in Cambridge has formed a consortium of experts, including Dr. Shenton, focusing on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
July 2012: Dr. Pasternak was awarded the National Alliance for Research in Schizophrenia and Depression (NARSAD) Young Investigator Award of the Brain and Behavior Research Foundation. This was awarded for his research project entitled, “Free-Water as a Novel Biomarker for the Investigation of Inflammation and Degeneration Dynamics in Schizophrenia”, with Drs. Shenton and Kubicki as co-mentors.
April 2012: Dr. Shenton’s research paper was listed among the top most downloaded articles in the area of schizophrenia in 2011.
