Research
The Psychiatry Neuroimaging Laboratory performs extensive research in several brain disorders such as schizophrenia, TBI, ADHD, OCD, Alzheimer’s, Parkinsons, Depression, Eating Disorder, Substance Abuse, Autism etc. We use several MRI methods including diffusion MRI, functional MRI, free-water imaging, data harmonization, MRI sequence development, data reconstruction, machine learning and artificial intelligence.
Data Sharing
The PNL is involved in data collection and processing of several multi-site studies. Most of these datasets have been shared via the NIMH Data Archive (NDA):
- Harmonized diffusion MRI dataset from the ABCD study.
- Harmonized Human Connectome Project (HCP) data (dMRI).
- Human Connectome Project for Early Psychosis (HCP-EP) data.
- Accelerating Medicines Partnership Schizophrenia (AMP-SCZ).
- Human Harvard-Oxford Atlas (hHOA).
- Monkey Harvard-Oxford Atlas (mHOA) (coming soon).
Other smaller datasets that have been used in our publications but are not available via the NDA can be requested by sending email to the senior co-author or by emailing soswald@bwh.harvard.edu for more information and instructions.
