We are fortunate to have a number of gifted individuals who have worked with us on neuroimaging studies of schizophrenia and schizophrenia related disorders. Individuals prior to 2005 were part of the Clinical Neuroscience Division (Directed by Dr. Martha Shenton) of the Laboratory of Neuroscience (Directed by Dr. Robert McCarley). In October 2005, the Psychiatry Neuroimaging Laboratory was established and we include past members of the Clinical Neuroscience Division, Laboratory of Neuroscience in our list of alums. The two laboratories share personnel, resources, and most importantly, science.

Former Research Assistants
Most of the RA’s listed below have entered either a Ph.D. program or medical school, and many have made important contributors to the research work which has been recognized by co-authorship on publications. Prior to 2005, these Research Assistants were part of the Clinical Neuroscience Division, Laboratory of Neuroscience, VA Boston Healthcare System, Brockton MA (1985-present), although between 1984 and 1986, these individuals were part of the Laboratory of Neuroscience at Massachusetts Mental Health Center. Starting in 2005, Research Assistants who are alums worked in the Psychiatry Neuroimaging Laboratory. These individuals have been funded by one or more of the following investigators: Drs. Shenton, McCarley, Kubicki, Dickey, Niznikiewicz, Nestor, and Salisbury.
