Natalia received her M.D. from Facultad de Medicina San Fernando – UNMSM, Peru, in 2015. Before graduating, she joined the Psychiatry Neuroimaging Laboratory and worked under the supervision of Dr. Marek Kubicki in a diffusion imaging project that characterized the white matter changes in an aging model. In June 2017, she came back to work in the PNL to increase her knowledge about neuroimaging methods and tools in the study of brain disorders. Her research interests lie in studying the brain structure in neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative diseases in order to improve our understanding of the neurobiological basis of these disorders. Currently, she is studying the neurological patterns in patients with anorexia under the supervision of Dr. Marek Kubicki.
